More NZ unit study resources

For more science tie-ins, the Kids Conservation Club website has some great links to learn about native species in New Zealand. There are quizes, activities, crafts, and matching games. There is also a whole section about the NZ National Parks where you can learn about each park, when it was created, how large it is, and what it contains! This is a fun, kid friendly, website that will make learning about NZ wildlife fun!

I also found a great page that discusses the New Zealand National Anthem. It has an audio clip  you can listen to (yay – music history!), and the words to the anthem in English and Maori, and also a Maori translation. The words to the anthem would make great copy work for older students!
